For generations, a job at TxDOT meant something. It meant your kids could go to college. It meant a pension and health insurance in a state that doesn’t offer much of either. The data below shows that 67 H-1B worker positions<\/strong> are currently placed at TxDOT through 14 outside staffing and consulting firms. The largest single vendor, CGI Technologies<\/strong>, holds one certified petition covering 50 positions \u2014 three-quarters of all H-1B placements at the agency, for the same job title at the same wage. Those are IT positions that Texas workers could fill.
